K9 Karma succumbed to complications from heatstroke after pursuing two drug suspects.
K9 Karma and his handler were executing a search warrant at a suspected drug residence with additional deputies. Two suspects fled the scene, and K9 Karma was deployed. When K9 Karma started experiencing signs of distress, he was taken to a treatment facility. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and K9 Karma passed away the next day.
The two suspects were apprehended and are in custody.
